The purpose of my website is to share my interest in cars and land speed racing with you.
Racing at the dry lakes, the salt flats in Bonneville and a WWII air strip in Maxton, NC is a hobby. Enthusiasts, like myself and fellow club members of the High Desert Racers as well as members of other clubs, race for top speed and our names on a list of record holders. The photographs were taken at meets at El Mirage, Bonneville Salt Flats and Muroc. Since 9/11, racing at Muroc has been suspended.
